MISSION:
Wild Bird Rehabilitation, Inc.is a 501(c) nonprofit tax-exempt organization. Our mission is to give the best possible care to injured, sick and orphaned wild birds and to release those birds back into their natural habitat. All donations are tax-deductable to the full extent of the law.

 
CLINIC
Wild Bird Rehabilitation (WBR) holds Federal and State licenses to help serve the Greater St. Louis and Eastern Missouri region.

If you are located outside the state of Missouri please click the
Resources area or consult your telephone directory for a wildlife rehabilitation organization nearest you.

It is against the law in Missouri (and the other 49 states) for anyone who is not licensed to possess native wildlife.

WBR accepts injured songbirds throughout the calendar year. There is a suggested donation of $15 to cover rehabilitation costs.

Hours of clinic operation:
Fall/Winter Hours:
9:00 am to 2:00 pm*

Spring/Summer Hours:
9:00 am to 2:00 pm*
5:00 pm to 8:00 pm*

*Due to volunteer staffing and different seasonal bird needs, always call Wild Bird Rehabilitation clinic at 314-447-0060 before bringing in your injured bird.

Before transporting, place bird in brown paper bag. During transportation do not talk or play the radio in your car.

DO NOT OVER HANDLE THE BIRD MORE THAN IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
